We are currently recruiting our DIRECTOR OF SALES who will be an integral member of the hotels management team, providing expertise and direction of all aspects of the Sales activities in line with the overall business strategy.
The role reports directly to the DOSM and supervises a great team of Sales Manager.
Qualifications
The role involve the following responsabilities:
• Implements all sales action plans relation to his market sectors, as outlined in the Revenue Plan.
• Establishes and maintains files on major active accounts within his market are.
• Maintains a sales all pattern within the designated areas of responsibility, averaging 15 calls per week.
• Monitors own accounts and monthly productivity and reports back to Director of Sales on any variances.
• Daily coordination with Banquet & Conference Manager, for Banquet and Meeting potential future business, for follow-up to secure the business.
• Provide feedback to the Director of Sales & Marketing on changing market conditions, including trend in the competition as a result of direct sales solicitation, telephone and direct mail, in his market areas.
• Disseminates sales related information to other Departments as appropriate.
• Maintains high profile within the local community and accounts.
• Performs related duties and special projects as assigned.
• Attends all functions related to the accounts handled.
• Submits weekly sales calls plan and weekly entertainment plan to the DOSM
Qualifications
- Minimum two years experience in similar role with deluxe hotel
- Excellent communication & leadership skills,
- Ability to work irregulars hours.
