Instrumentation & Control Engineer (Pump Station, Sewerage) at Parsons

Job Description
• Performs complex engineering tasks efficiently and accurately related to instrumentation.
• Reviews/comments on instrument engineering control systems like instrument location layout drawings, cable block diagram and cable schedule, control room layout drawings, control schematic diagram-control and logic diagram for control system equipment.
• Prepares and issues specifications, data sheets, and other construction documents.
• Reviews contract drawings, specifications and other procurement materials that have been prepared by others; and provide comments on the results of the reviews.
• Understands all related codes and their application to the project; and overseas/manages the interface with local agencies to coordinate design standards usage and monthly approvals’ process.
• Maintains awareness of the project instrumentation specifications, drawings and design criteria.

Experience and Qualification:
• Bachelor’s Degree in Control & Instrumentation, Electronic Engineering or Electronics & Instrumentation or equivalent from an accredited University or Institution all to the approval of the Engineer.
• Minimum 10 years experience in construction supervision, commissioning of control, automation and SCADA in pump station, water reservoir or sewerage treatment works.
• Must be able to review and supervise a broad range of control & instrumentation and software designs activities on a variety of public infrastructure projects particularly pump stations.
