Duties & responsibilities
Under the supervision of the Facilities Manger, the successful candidate will ensure that materials and supplies are adequately stocked and properly organizes to meet the needs of college faculty, staff and students .This includes but is not limited to:
Responsible for unpacking, physically counting and recording all incoming materials and supplies.
Responsible for the operation of a computerized inventory system and the organizing and stocking of materials and supplies.
Responsible for tracking of re-order level and coordinating with concerned supervisors for requisitioning of routine supplies, and being familiar with the requirement of college.
Responsible for inventory control and replenishment of supplies, contract consumables, warrantee spares, special event items, maintenance and program consumables etc.. as required
Responsible for maintaining different kinds of store in good order, well organized and clean at all times, knowledge of hazardous material and able to understand MSDS
Responsible for delivery of office supplies and other items to each and every department with in the campus as per the requirement.
Use the operation of fork lifts and/ or trucks and the ability to lift heavy materials.

Qualification & skills required
Graduation from an appropriate post secondary program
Background in inventory control, requisitioning of supplies and organizing stock items.
Minimum of 2 years of working experience in similar and/or related positions in multinational firms.
Fluency in English is essential and the ability to speak Arabic would be an asset.
Strong computer skills with knowledge of Microsoft Office application.
Superb organizational skills in a multi-task pressured environment.
Experience with PeopleSoft would be an asset.
Must be able to work as an enthusiastic team member
License and training to use of fork lift and/or truck
Ability to perform complex tasks and to prioritize multiple projects.

Job Description:

• Enhancing the efficiency of production levels in line with the standard operating procedures, maximizing productivity and minimizing cost and waste

• Increasing plant capacity through various innovative techniques (within agreed budgets)

• Monitoring and continuous improvement in the efficiency of Gas Circuit production lines

Requirements

The Successful candidate will be degree qualified in a related discipline and have minimum of 7 years experience in production management position in the Oil & Gas industry sector. Knowledge of Quality Management Systems and Operations Systems and prior experience in the implementation of Production Department’s Strategy are also required.

Must have an Associate's degree in Engineering or Engineering Technology OR Completion of formal resident trade school or apprentice program in electronics. OR Completion of at least three (3) U.S. Military schools in electronic communications equipment or systems and Grade E-7 or equivalent.

Additional: Must have excellent written and oral communication skills and be fluent in reading, writing and speaking English

General Experience:
Inside Cable Plant - Must have a minimum of five (5) years experience of inside plant operation and maintenance experience, installation, testing, and repair of telecommunications equipment and systems within the last 10 years.

Outside Cable Plant- Must have a minimum of five (5) years experience in telecommunications installation, maintenance, repair, and testing of multiple conductors, aerial, underground, and buried multi-purpose communications cable to include coaxial and fiber optic cable.

Specialized Experience:
• Must have a minimum of ten (10) years experience working with and supervising the following:
• Installation of ducts and conduits, pulling cables, and terminating, testing, splicing, and repairing copper, coaxial, and fiber optic cabling
• Installation of outside and interior copper and fiber cabling, fiber optic modems, fiber multiplex equipment, fiber patch panels, analog and digital copper patch panels, main and intermediate distribution frames, lightning protection, and supporting ground and power connections.
• Installation of cabinets, cable ladder and rack systems, and equipment components in the cabinets.
• Operating trenching ,cable reel trucks and excavating equipment
